Below is the current guidepost at the same location that must have been erected after 1985.  The legend on the annulus finial reads CASTLE POINT BOROUGH COUNCIL.  Details of manufacturer unknown but there is a striking similarity to the Stanton type posts.  Photo by J Nicholls, December 2003
